The Story Behind Nola & Eve

Fashion has always been a part of my story.

My love for style began with my mother, a woman who believed in dressing beautifully wherever she went. Whether she was heading to work, enjoying a night out, or simply running to the grocery store, she understood that the right accessories could transform an outfit—and no look was ever complete without them.

But that love for fashion runs even deeper.

My maternal and paternal grandmothers, Enola Brown White and Genevieve Walker Shaw, were women who understood the art of being beautifully and meticulously dressed. Their confidence, elegance, and attention to detail left an impression on me that continues to inspire my work today.

I never wanted to simply follow the crowd. I wanted to create pieces that felt different, personal, and unforgettable. So I taught myself to sew, turning a hidden talent into a passion—and eventually, into Nola & Eve.

Nola & Eve is a tribute to the women who came before me. Their spirits live on in the name, in the details, and in every handbag we create.

We believe a handbag should be more than something you carry. It should reflect who you are, tell a story, and become part of the moments you’ll never forget.

This is Nola & Eve.
Rooted in legacy. Made for individuality. Designed to be remembered.
